Imagine
all the wintertime fruits and vegetables that you love to
eat...Envision them stacked high in the stalls of a french village
market...Add the sausage and cheese available all year round, and you
have a picnic!
The
village markets of the Luberon operate all year round and, except for
the peak summer months, serve primarily the everyday needs of local
residents.
The flower vendors are there, selling cyclamen and pansies instead of gerbera daisies.
And
the fabric vendors are there with jacquards, heavyweight linens, and
wools alongside the colorful cottons. The clothing vendors are there,
selling coats sweaters, hats and gloves instead of cute linen dresses
and t-shirts.
After seeing your great pictures I want to join you in France!!!
